Dr. Tom Northe

Thomas completed a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University in 2023. Thomas’ interest in Osteopathy began during his junior sporting career with returning to sport from injury, he was treated by an Osteopath which developed his curiosity in how they manage pain and injuries.

Thomas has a background in a wide variety of sports such as football (AFL), cricket, basketball, golf and running which has allowed him to achieve a better understanding of what is required to not only get back to sport but perform at a higher level. During Thomas’ studies, he was able to gain experience with clinical placement in areas such as chronic diseases, sports specific injuries and rehab as well as workplace related injuries varying from ergonomic issues as well as laborious tasks. This was achieved in varying clinical settings in both metropolitan areas and rural Victoria.

Thomas is passionate about helping others which can include sport related injuries, return to work and just the everyday complaint. Thomas has developed a holistic approach to treatment which not only includes the physical aspect of the patient but takes into account the mental, emotional and social aspect which has a profound impact on the outcome of an injury or complaint. Thomas is determined in assisting and enhancing the outcomes for his patients in Gippsland and will focus on further developing his skills and knowledge to make this happen.
